The Boyett family has been in the timber business in central Florida for nearly 100 years. Three generations once worked hand in hand to deliver quality log products to local mills. Pine and Cypress timber was and is a way of life for the Boyetts. The business is thriving today because of good planning, good management and harvesting efficiency. Boyett Timber now operates state of the art equipment and can produce wood more efficiently than the older ways and techniques used a half century ago. With mill quota tightening and wood supply abundant Owners Tim and Jason Boyett thought outside the box. Local mills were selling mulch products made from the very trees they were having hard times selling. With motivation to grow to the market in central Florida, Boyett Timber bought its first horizontal grinder. Cypress mulch was key and soon a coloring machine followed. With the right people added to the team Boyett Timber and Mulch started capturing the market place.
